STEPHEN B. HEINTZ is president and CEO of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund (RBF), a family foundation with an endowment of approximately $1.5 billion that advances
social change for a more just, sustainable and peaceful world. Heintz served as executive vice president and CEO of the EastWest Institute during the 1990s.
JONATHAN F. FANTON, Ph.D., served as president of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences from 2014 to 2019 and has been a special adviser to the World Refugee &
Migration Council since its launch in 2017. As president of the American Academy, Fanton directed one of the nation’s oldest honorary societies and independent policy research centers. Founded in 1780, the academy convenes leaders from academia, business, and government to address present and future challenges for the nation and the world.
